Rated 5 out of 5 by from Kid tested, mom approved. When I first opened the package of these Goodnites Absorbent Inserts, my six year old son said, "Man! These are huge!" Then I asked what other qualities he liked about them, he said that they are soft. To me, they looked like a super maxi pad. Same type of wrapper, same fold over design with the sticky back. It's brilliant. Why change something that already works. These inserts are absorbent. I'm impressed. As a parent, I'm happy that my six year old can pee in these when he has an accident, instead of damaging his everyday underwear. I give my son the choice, he can pee before bed or wear the insert. This product is very effective and I highly recommend it.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Nice idea, but was not approved by son I have a 4 and a half year old who wets the bed some nights randomly. So deciding when to be prepared isn't really an option, if these were a little smaller and more comfortable for him it would be great. They are very comparable to a women's pad. He could not get to sleep comfortably with this on and he was annoyed by it and immediately wanted it off. I understand the concept of it, and the idea was good. But it just didn't work and my son won't allow me to continue use. He agrees to the night time pull up because they are easy to get on and off. They feel like "big boy chonies" and he prefers that instead.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect !! My daughter is still a bed wetter and after trying to find a great solution, I came across this. These pads are excellent in keeping the bed dry. I also use the GoodNites TRU-FIT underwear and they work wonderfully with the pads. Once the pad is securely inserted in the underwear, it is all set and absorbs all the liquids, without wetting the bed. I am very pleased with this and my only complaint is that I cannot get them in stores and sometimes it's a bit tricky getting them online, as supply is sometimes limited. Otherwise, great, great, great product. I WOULD GIVE MORE THAN 5 STARS IF I COULD!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for added protection at night I really love this idea. We are at a stage in the potty training process where we dont use anything all day and we have had a few accidents over night. He was very much against using the training pants again because he said it's a diaper and hes not a baby anymore so I was happy that they had something that still let's him wear his big boy underwear at night but adds protection just incase there is an accident and we dont have to go to to pull ups or diapers which he doesn't like to wear anymore. They were great at absorbing when he did have an accident and it kept him,the sheets and everything else dry.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great alternative to pullups! Although I did see this product as super necessary for my son, it turns out he really likes them! My 5 year old still has occasional accidents in bed and I was tossing around the idea of putting him in pullups since they're becoming more frequent. He didn't like the idea and he was also against trying the goodnights for a couple nights also. About a week ago, he came to me and asked if he could try them and turns out he liked them. I think it was less embarrassing for him to wear the goodnights instead of pullups. He says they are comfortable and his underwear are dry in the morning. Would definitely recommend!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great for older kids Goodnites Absorbant Inserts have been a huge help in my family. When your child gets older and is well past potty training but still having accidents at night, it can be very frustrating for everyone involved. Washing sheets gets tiring but you don't want to put your older child in "diapers" so these are what you buy. Your child wears their regular underwear and sticks the insert inside. It is very discreet and absorbant. Great for sleepovers.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great product! Buy differently and save 50%!! Bedwetting has been a fixture in our house far too long. Originally Goodnites Underwear was our go-to product. They work great and made the situation manageable. However, the concept of wearing a diaper was not appealing... About 2 years ago we found an underwear insert and started using it. The results were amazing... improved dignity and dry clothes and bedding... The bonus? The cost was about $0.22 a night (GoodNites underwear were about $1/night). When GoodNites released the Absorbent Inserts, we had to try... we expected they'd be better than the product we were using... Much to our surprise, it seems the GoodNites inserts are an identical product to the ones we were using for twice as much money. We looked into it. Here is what we found. 1. Both made by the same manufacturer. 2. Both about 27 grams of absorbent product 3. Both the same back sheet with a very slight difference on the top sheet 4. Both almost exactly the same shape and size. 5. Both absorb about a cup without leaking You would maybe ask what we were using... Depend Guards for Men in a 104 pack purchase. We get them on amazon for about $22 a case. It's really nice to get the same protection and save a bunch of money. Thank you Kimberly Clark for bringing sanity to our lives!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Absorbancy was perfect. My only gribe is that I wish the pads adhered to the underwear a little better (there was some slipping and sliding of the pad through tossing and turning overnight. It clung best to all cotton underwear and not some of the moisture wicking materials that are slipperier). Otherwise the absorbancy level was just right. Not too full, and gave me peace of mind while traveling and camping that the occasional accident is now worry free. My son said it was a little uncomfortable at first (mostly scratchy as he got used to it) but by the 3rd night he didn't notice it anymore.
