My son's dad has a different approach to bedwetting than we do at our house. My son and I have decided as of his 8th birthday that we are foregoing the GOODNITES® Underpants for all but sleepover parties and working on limiting beverages and waking him up to go to the bathroom before I go to bed. He is now dry about 75 percent of the time. At his dad's it is less often, and his stepmom doesn't like washing the sheets so much. So they use the GOODNITES® Underpants all the time. I wish we could get together on our approach. We've talked about it and just don't see eye to eye. So instead, I emphasize to my son what he already knows: the routines are different at Mom's and Dad's homes. They aren't necessarily better or worse, just different. It isn't perfect, but it helps for him to know we're still 100 percent behind him regardless of what approach we take with his bedwetting.
