En-ur-WHAT-sis!?
Doctors call it enuresis (say: "en-you-REE-sis"). Thats just a fancy name for wetting the bedif you urinate (pee) when youre asleep, thats enuresis. The good news is, its not something thatll last forever. Sometimes its simply because your bladder hasnt grown as fast as the rest of your body. Be patient cause itll all catch up!

A Bunch of Reasons
There are a bunch of reasons why kids wet the bed. You might have inherited it from someone in your family. Like if your dad wet the bed when he was a kid, youve got a 40% chance of wetting the bed. Both parents wet the bed as kids? Your chances go up to 70%.
Sometimes its just a growth spurtyour bladder might need to catch up to the rest of your growing body. With some kids its because of something called hormones. You might not be producing enough of an important hormone called ADH at night (you will, dont worry!). And it could be that you just are going through a stage where you sleep too soundly z z z z z z z z z z z.
