My son has to go away for a one week sleep away camp with boy scouts. He's so nervous about being embarrassed, he's wetting more often. How do I ensure he keeps his dignity at camp? Anyone know of a really discrete product out there to help?
Dawn Meehan answers:
I'm Dawn Meehan with the NiteLite Panel. I understand your son's nervousness, but the good news is that there is help! GoodNites Underwear are designed for kids age 4-14. They're super-absorbent yet they look more like underwear than diapers, and they will keep him dry and comfortable at night. Your son can pack GoodNites and gallon size zip-top bags and discreetly dispose of the used GoodNites. No one will notice! Also let your son know that he isn't alone; as many as 1 out of every 9 kids wets the bed (Goodnites.com). Chances are there will be another boy at camp who is facing the same issues. Armed with the knowledge that he isn't alone and a strategy to handle bedwetting, I'm sure your son will have a great time at camp with the Boy Scouts!
