My daughter has been invited to a slumber party next week but she still wets the
bed occasionally. She has dry nights for weeks, but then she’ll go through a
period where she has several wet nights in a row. I want her to be with her
friends, but I don’t want her to suffer embarrassment or be teased if she wets
the bed. How can I help her?

There are things you can do to allow your daughter to attend the sleepover and have a successful night with her friends. The first thing you should do is sit down and talk to her about it. Her fears may not be the same as your fears for her. Ask her if she minds if you tell the mother at the slumber party about her bedwetting – that way, your daughter will have an ally on the inside.
Pack a few pairs of GoodNites® Underwear in your daughter's bag or have her wear a pair to the party. When it comes time to change into pajamas, your daughter can go into the bathroom for some privacy. Send a plastic grocery or freezer bag with her so when the morning comes, she has a place to stash her GoodNites. She can bring them home in her bag, or slip them off in her sleeping bag, tuck them into the baggie, and roll it all up in the sleeping bag. No one has to know.
Good luck, and let us know how it goes!
