My son is 17 and still on occasion wets the bed. He'll be going to college soon. The doctor has given him medication that he uses when he stays overnight somewhere, but I'm not OK with him taking it on a regular basis. Looking for some help.
Your son's doctor is the best person to speak to about the use of medications and other possible treatments. Helping your son understand and develop the skills to manage his condition can also help. Having your son keep a bedwetting journal can help identify triggers such as soft drinks, juices or certain foods which can be managed or eliminated. There are no simple solutions to bedwetting nor simple medical cures. By knowing all you can about a condition is the first step in reducing its impact over your life.
