Life Lessons: A Sister Who Understood
By LaVonda

I did not have a problem with bedwetting as a child, but my younger brother did well into his preteen years. Now that I have children, my 5-year-old periodically has accidents. I am more aware of the fact that this is common, especially in boys. It is easy for a parent to get upset but even easier for them to spend a few dollars to save both your child from the embarrassment and you from the duty of washing soiled sheets and clothing every once in a while. If there were GOODNITES® Underpants in the 1980s, my brother would not have had such low self-esteem; he would have been accepted and ready for overnight visits rather than teased by family members because of his condition. I was very sympathetic towards my brother. My heart went out to him because of the crude remarks people would make about him. Thank goodness for GOODNITES® Underpants, and thank goodness for this site that helps not just parents but the kids as well!
