Bedwetting Stays Discreet on a Sleepover
by Allison
I am surprised by some of the "personal stories" in your treatment/management section. Some seem so negative and made me feel bad for the children involved.
My son is 6 and has never made it through a night ever dry. We have never made him feel bad about it; we are only supportive. He has been using GoodNites® since he was 4 (after the "night diapers" didn't fit anymore). We know that this is a situation that will pass eventually and are thankful for GoodNites®.
Half the week he uses two a night. We try to limit his water, but most nights that doesn't help. However, we never make him feel bad about it; it is just a part of life now.
I got a tip from a friend of mine whose son also uses GoodNites® (her son is 10 now). When he goes on a sleepover or someone sleeps over, she puts a GoodNites® in his sleeping bag, so that when he unrolls it at night he can just slide into it when he goes to sleep and in the morning he takes it off and leaves it in his sleeping bag and rolls up the bag and brings it home. She washes the bag afterward, and no one is the wiser. Great advice I think!
